04 Apr Operational reorganization at NAEKO HANDLING to introduce more than 400 Tons of sanitary material
Committed to fighting the coronavirus pandemic, and with the aim of contributing our infrastructures to the common service, the Barcelona facilities of NAEKO HANDLING, the Air Handling operator of the NAEKO GROUP, have reorganized their operations in order to handle more than 400 Tons of sanitary material in the shortest time possible, thus speeding up its availability to the different Official Organizations where they are destined.
The operation, managed by the freight forwarding company GRUPO STARTRANS, has meant the freight to Barcelona Airport of 16 high-capacity cargo planes, in charge of transporting to our country the more than 360 aerial plates that house various medical supplies such as gowns, masks, gloves, goggles or tests.
The speed and quality required in an operation of this magnitude, which will take place for more than a month at night, represents a major challenge for any logistics operator.
